The Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) is offering assistance for Phase 3 of its relief efforts.

The program provides temporary food assistance in a one-time payment to low-to-moderate income households that lost property or sustained damage during Hurricane Helene.

Georgia DSNAP Phase 3 began Thursday, Nov. 7 and will run through Thursday, Nov. 14 (excluding Sunday and Veterans Day, Nov. 11) and is the third of four phases. The first two phases benefitting southern Georgia counties has ended.

Households currently on SNAP benefits are not eligible for DSNAP aid.

The D-SNAP sites for Phase 3 will serve Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Warren, and Washington counties and are listed below.

Households must pre-register only during their disaster benefit period. Pre-registration will continue through the duration of each phase, and households can pre-register at gateway.ga.gov.
